Happy Halloween
This Halloween, we had the pleasure of adding a touch of creativity and excitement to Arc of Clarion’s annual Masquerade Ball by hosting a mask-making activity! The event, held at the Clarion Mall, was the perfect setting for guests of all ages to craft their own unique, spooky, or whimsical masks to wear for the night.
As attendees gathered around the table filled with vibrant materials—feathers, jewels, glitter, and paints—the energy in the room was palpable. For some, this was their first time exploring their artistic side, while others were delighted to return to the hands-on fun of crafting. We encouraged everyone to let their imaginations run wild, using colors and accessories that spoke to their personalities or transformed them into someone (or something) entirely different for the evening.
Each mask took on a life of its own, reflecting the unique spirit of its maker. Projects like these remind us of the joy and empowerment that comes from allowing ourselves to create and play, no matter our age.
As the night continued, our space became a vibrant tapestry of artistry and self-expression. It was truly magical to see everyone donning their handcrafted masks as they moved to the dance floor, their creations adding a personal flair to the festivities. The mask-making activity was not just a prelude to the night’s fun—it was an invitation for everyone to reconnect with their inner artist and embrace the spirit of Halloween in a way that felt deeply personal and communal.
We’re grateful to Arc of Clarion for inviting us to contribute to this special night. The success of the mask-making workshop reinforces our belief in the power of creative, healing spaces where everyone can express themselves freely. We can’t wait to bring more opportunities for creativity, joy, and connection to our community.
